EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEMS FOR ESCAPE ROUTES

Provides visibility in the event of an emergency where the main power supply is cut from the building. The emergency lighting operates automatically to provide adequate illumination to enable occupants to evacuate the premises safely.

Emergency lighting systems are legally required to be tested annually to ensure that in the event of an evacuation due to a loss of mains power, the system can operate correctly for at least 3 hours.

A monthly flick test can be beneficial for a number of reasons and is highly recommended to be carried out alongside a full annual test. It can be a fundamental task carried out alongside general lighting maintenance over tailored intervals as part of our PPM service, find out about the benefits and contact one of our account managers.
